Going Places Together, is for women! Because of a belief in the necessity of travel for women, Going Places Together, became a reality in 1994. Since that time we have succeeded in travelling on an ongoing basis to exciting destinations, with wonderful women. To follow the regulations of the Ontario Travel act and to help find more women who would like to join me in my travels, I have decided to join forces with 'TravelGAL.ca'. Together we will promote tours for women to exciting destinations around our world! We have travelled to India, Africa, China, New Zealand, Nepal, Peru, Around the World, the United Kingdom and Europe. Our average group size is 10-18 participants. The largest group was our first journey to Kenya. The smallest was a group of 5 who traveled to New Zealand and in June, 5 wonderful women travelled to Peru. In both groups there were women who were travelling again with Going Places Together. This is success! You may come with a friend or on your own. If you do not want to pay single supplements when travelling, we will find someone for you to share with. Our tours are for women, young, old or in between. We offer a mix of 3 to 5 star accommodations.We are not rushing as we travel. There is no, if this is Monday it must be ?. I will admit that sometimes there is so much to see we do pack in the sights, but then what else could we do? We are there! We understand that women travellers wish to experience where they are! In China we stopped to make dumplings.
Meet Nancy It is on this page that I am to introduce myself. I am the woman in the picture. The man is my husband. We both like to travel. As travelling is my business I do more then he does. We live in Stratford, On. Canada and share our home with Angus our west highland terrier, Pocket Watch our peach faced love bird and many fish (koi and goldfish). The fish do not live in the house they have a water world in our yard. We have three children. They are all grown and doing their own thing. I am like all mothers proud of my children and their success. In July we became the proud grandparents to a beautiful little boy, Simon. Life will change in our home now. In my spare time I am a member of the Girl Guides of Canada. I have enjoyed 40 years in Guiding 8 as a youth member and 32 as an adult volunteer. It has been a very positive part of my life. Travelling to exotic destinations has been the exciting part of my job but getting to know my travellers as we experience the world together, has been the bonus. I am pleased to say that I have good friends in many parts of the world. The continued success of Going Places Together, tours for women is
important to me. We are growing. I will be spending more time planning,
dreaming, and searching for tours for women. With more tours, I have
found that it is necessary to share the job of tour leader with other
women. They are my friends and past travellers. You will enjoy their
company and their knowledge of travel. I know I do.
