inspired books, club members join independent tour operator Going Places
Together for a 16-day journey into the heart of the region in question. Books Abroad is not just for women, but it is just for book lovers.

GOING PLACES TOGETHER
Since 1994 Going Places Together has been providing women who
love to travel with everything they need. Our travellers are independent
in spirit but love to share this kind of adventure. Together we explore
the ruins of forgotten cities, sit in the shade of towering temples,
wonder at the majesty of Kilimanjaro, and share our first glimpse of
that place we have always wished to see. Paris, Cape Town, Rio or Bombay,
the world awaits and we know just where to look.
SINGLE TRAVELLERS FIND A HOME
Until Going Places Together came along, independent women couldn’t
really travel in a group tour without feeling like the third wheel. Not
only did you pay extra if you were on your own (the dreaded “single
supplement”), but you either sat alone or squeezed in where you
could. Our tours are designed to change that experience. We pay the same,
