Day 1 - June 1, 2025 PARIS - HAMBYE
On arrival (it is important that you all arrive at the same time so request your air or the itinerary being used by your host, before booking your flight) you will be met and transferred to Chateau d’Hambye.
The rest of the day is at leisure. Take time to visit the village it is just outside the gate. The garden is home to a solar heated swimming pool. What better way to relax!

Day 2 - June 2, - CHATEAU d'HAMBYE Day of Leisure
Your chateau is set in a stunning location within eight acres of parkland that overlooks rolling countryside. The gardens within the grounds of the chateau offer open spaces as well as a private enclosed walled garden. Walk in the village, enjoy the pool.

Day 3 - June 3, - HAMBYE TO MONT ST MICHEL by bus
Your tour begins with a journey to the north coast of France. You will spend the day in the historical village of Le Mont-Saint-Michel. Be sure to bring your camera!
Le Mont-Saint-Michel is a walled village with a Benedictine Abbey (founded in 10th century) perched upon a rock becoming an island when the tide is in. The village is a walled fort with winding cobbled streets that spiral up the massive rock to the abbey. There are no cars allowed over the drawbridge, only carts pulled along the cobblestones the same way for over 800 years.

Day 4 - June 4 - HAMBYE Day of leisure
Time to recover from your day at Mont St. Michel, resting or off on a hike it is up to you.

Day 5 - June 5 - HAMBYE TO DINAN by bus
The centre of Dinan, is a perfectly preserved medieval town of the 14th and 15th centuries located in the Rance Valley of Brittany. The picturesque cobbled streets and half-timbered buildings are typical of the Norman architecture of the French northwest.

Day 6 - June 6 - HAMBYE Day of Leisure
Your morning is at leisure.

Day 7 June 7 - Normandy Beaches by private coach
After breakfast board your coach for a day trip to Juno Beach with your English speaking guide.

Day 8 June 8 - Chateau D' Hambye at leisure

Day 9 - June 9 Chateau D'Hambye
Your last day as a resident of Chateau D'Hambye. Prepare for your return to Paris and relax. Overnight: Chateau D' Hambye

Day 10 - June 10 Hambye to Paris stopping on route at Giverny to visit Monet's Garden
Your bus will be ready to depart as soon as breakfast is over. The village of Giverny is waiting and Monet’s Garden/home is an amazing stop. You will have a couple of hours to visit the gardens and the village as well as time to lunch before heading on to Paris.
On arrival check in to your hotel.

Day 10-12 - June 10-12 Paris
Is this your first time in Paris? Ask your host to give you directions and suggestions of the must see of Paris.

Day 13 - June 13- Paris to home or off on another adventure
It is time to return to Canada. Your bus will take you to Charles De Gaulle Airport, Paris.
This is the end of your tour with Going Places Together.
Time to strike out on your own or join those heading home to the airport. Transfer to the airport is not included but arrangements will be made.

NOTE: Pricing has been difficult for this trip as the Chateau D’Hambye is not your normal hotel. I have priced the tour with everyone (not possible) staying in a twin room.
